UP LT Grade & Lecturer Recruitment 2025 Update

Good news has come for the students who are waiting for government teacher jobs in Uttar Pradesh. The path for the recruitment of Assistant Teachers (LT Grade Teachers) and Lecturers (Pravakta) in government secondary schools is now clear. The Directorate of Secondary Education has sent a fresh proposal (called adhisan) for more than 9000 posts to the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC). This means the recruitment process can now begin soon.
Earlier, the Commission had received a proposal for 8,905 posts for LT Grade Teachers and Lecturers. But at that time, the subject-wise reservation (which category gets how many posts in each subject) was not included. As a result, the Commission returned the proposal to the Directorate for necessary corrections and updates. They said that without reservation details, the process could not go forward. The Commission asked the Directorate to re-send the proposal with proper reservation details.
Now, after a long wait, the Directorate has finally sent the proposal again. This time, the proposal includes around 2017 extra posts along with complete reservation information for each subject. Sources in the Directorate say that this proposal was sent to the Commission two days ago. Now, the recruitment process can begin without any further delay.
This is a big relief for many candidates who have been waiting for years. The last LT Grade Teacher recruitment was advertised in the year 2018. The Pravakta or Lecturer recruitment was last announced in 2020. It has been a very long wait — around 7 years for LT Grade and 4–5 years for Pravakta posts. Many candidates have been preparing for these posts for a long time, hoping to get a government job in the education sector.
Over the last year, these job seekers have protested and raised their voice more than 20 times. They held sit-ins, demonstrations, and met with officials to demand that the government start the recruitment process. Now their efforts have finally given results. The Directorate and the UPPSC are both now ready to start the recruitment.
The UPPSC can now soon publish the advertisement for new recruitment. After that, the application process will begin. The candidates will have to fill out online forms, pay the application fees, and later appear for written exams. After exams, there will be results, and selected candidates will be posted as teachers in government schools.
This new recruitment will help improve the education system too. Many government schools do not have enough teachers. Students face problems in learning because their classes do not have subject teachers. With the recruitment of over 9000 new teachers and lecturers, these problems will be reduced. The new teachers will help children in classes 9 to 12 learn subjects better. It will also reduce the workload of existing teachers who are overburdened.
The new proposal includes teachers for different subjects like Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Computer, Commerce, Biology, Sanskrit, and more. There are posts for both male and female teachers. The reservation list gives details about how many posts are for General, OBC, SC, ST, and other categories. This makes the recruitment fair for everyone.
Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website of UPPSC regularly. As soon as the advertisement is published, it will be available there. It is also advised that they keep their documents ready, like their mark sheets, certificates, caste certificates (if needed), and photos. They should also read the instructions carefully before filling out the form.
This recruitment will be done in a proper step-by-step manner. First, the advertisement will be released. Then the online form process will start. After that, UPPSC will conduct a written exam. The pattern of the exam and syllabus will be shared in the official notification. After the written exam, the answer key will be released. Then the results will be declared. Finally, the selected candidates will get their joining letters and be posted to schools across Uttar Pradesh.
Candidates should stay positive and prepare well for the exam. They should revise their subjects and solve previous years' question papers. Good preparation and smart study will help them score well. There will be tough competition, so hard work is needed.
This recruitment is not just important for job seekers, but also for lakhs of students in government schools. New teachers will bring new energy and better teaching. The government wants to improve the quality of education in secondary schools. With better staff and subject-wise teachers, this aim can be achieved.
This step also shows that the government is serious about filling teacher vacancies. Many schools have been running with very few teachers. Sometimes, one teacher has to teach three or four subjects. This affects the students. With new teachers joining, the schools will be stronger.
Parents and students are also happy about this news. They want good teachers in their schools. They want their children to study all subjects properly. This recruitment will also give hope to unemployed educated youth in the state.
The Education Department and UPPSC will now have to work together smoothly to make sure the recruitment is done on time. There should be no delay in the process. The government has taken the right step by sending the new proposal with reservation details. Now, the Commission must act fast and issue the recruitment notice.
In the end, this is a win for all — for job seekers, for students, and for education. More than 9000 families will get jobs. Lakhs of students will get teachers. The schools will get fresh energy. And the education system will get better. This is a step toward development.
Let us hope that the advertisement comes soon. All eligible candidates should get a fair chance. And the selected candidates should serve in schools with full dedication. This is not just a job — it is a service to the nation. Teachers help build the future of the country.

Rinku Singh to Join UP Education Dept as BSA Officer

Team India’s famous cricketer Rinku Singh is soon going to become a Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) in the Basic Education Department of Uttar Pradesh. This big news came from the state government. Rinku Singh is a well-known player who has made India proud by playing great cricket in international matches. He is now being given this job under the direct recruitment system for international medal winners. The Sports Department and the Uttar Pradesh government are working together to give important government posts to such players.

Rinku Singh is a part of the Indian T20 cricket team. He belongs to Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Recently, he got engaged to Priya Sarvotham, who is a Member of Parliament from the Samajwadi Party. Their wedding date will be announced soon.

The Uttar Pradesh government wants to give respect and good jobs to players who have won medals for India. This decision was taken in a meeting led by the Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh. The meeting was about filling vacant posts in different departments with talented athletes. It was decided that medal winners from different sports will be given officer-level posts in various departments.

In this meeting, it was agreed that Rinku Singh will be made a Basic Shiksha Adhikari in the Basic Education Department. This is a very honorable post. It means Rinku will now become a senior officer who works to improve education in schools. This step shows how much the government respects the hard work of sportspeople.

Along with Rinku Singh, many other athletes are also being given government jobs. Athlete Praveen Kumar will become a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in the Home Department. Hockey player Rajkumar Pal will also get the post of Superintendent of Police (SP) in the same department. This is a great step for sportspersons who worked hard to win medals for India and made the country proud.

Para-athlete Ajit Singh will become a District Panchayati Raj Officer in the Panchayati Raj Department. Para-athlete Simran will also get the same post in another district. Another para-athlete, Preeti Pal, will become a Block Development Officer (BDO) in the Rural Development Department. All these posts are officer-level jobs. It shows that the Uttar Pradesh government is serious about supporting sports and young athletes.

Kiran Balyan, who is also an athlete, will be given the post of Range Forest Officer in the Forest Department. This is a very good post, and she will help protect trees, animals, and nature.

All these appointments are being done under a special rule called the "Direct Recruitment of International Medal Winners Rule." This rule was made by the Uttar Pradesh government to help sportspersons get good government jobs without a long exam process. The rule says that if a person has won a medal in international sports for India, they can be directly given a job in the government.

The Sports and Youth Welfare Department, led by Principal Secretary Manish Chauhan, has issued instructions about these recruitments. The department has sent letters to all selected athletes, asking them to complete the necessary paperwork. The athletes have to submit their education documents and some other certificates before they can get their job orders.

This is a very proud moment for Rinku Singh and all the other players. Rinku has worked very hard to reach this level. His success story is very inspiring for young children. He comes from a simple family and has reached the Indian national team through his talent and hard work. Now, he is also going to become an officer in the education department. He will help improve the schools and education system of Uttar Pradesh.

The Basic Education Department has already started preparing for Rinku Singh’s posting. They will soon complete all the formalities and announce his official joining. The Education Department has also said that they will give full support to Rinku and guide him in his new responsibilities. His job as a Basic Shiksha Adhikari will include visiting schools, checking teacher attendance, student learning levels, and helping improve the school buildings and classrooms. He will also make sure that mid-day meals are given to students on time and that children are happy and safe in schools.

This move by the Uttar Pradesh government is being appreciated by many people. Parents, students, and teachers are happy to know that sportspeople are being given important roles. It shows that playing sports is not just fun, but it can also lead to a bright future. Children who play sports can now dream of becoming officers and leaders, too.

The recruitment of athletes in different departments also sends a message to society. It tells everyone that sport is important, and athletes should be respected. It also shows that the government is serious about encouraging sports in schools and villages. With athletes becoming officers, more children will get inspired to play and do their best.

Also, when athletes become officers, they bring the same team spirit, hard work, and discipline into their jobs. This will help improve the work of different departments. For example, Rinku Singh’s experience as a cricketer will help him connect with students better. He will know how to motivate children and bring out their talents.

This recruitment is fair and transparent. All selected candidates have achieved big things at the international level. Their names were checked and verified by a committee. The committee made sure that they really won medals and had the right documents. Only then were their names sent to different departments for posting.

The Uttar Pradesh government has shown a big heart by honoring these players. It is not easy to win medals for India. Athletes spend years training, facing injuries, and sacrificing family time to bring glory to the country. Giving them government jobs is a way to say "thank you" and also to use their talent in public service.

In the future, more such recruitments may take place. This will encourage youth to join sports seriously. Parents will also support their children more in playing games and becoming sportspeople. Schools may also get more support for organizing sports days, matches, and practice sessions.

The Education Department will also benefit from having a star like Rinku Singh. He will bring new ideas and positive energy. His presence will also increase interest in school education. Children will feel proud to see a cricketer as their education officer. It will create a strong bond between sports and learning.

The government is also making sure that all data and steps are completed correctly. They are taking care of documents, postings, and training for these new officers. This will help in smooth joining and good work performance.

In conclusion, this decision to appoint Rinku Singh and other athletes to officer-level posts is a golden step. It will help in many ways. It supports players, improves departments, and gives children new role models. Uttar Pradesh is setting an example for the whole country. Other states can also learn from this and give more respect and responsibility to their medal-winning players.

Let us hope that Rinku Singh and all other athletes do great work in their new roles. May they continue to inspire young minds and help in building a stronger and smarter Uttar Pradesh. Congratulations to Rinku Singh and all the proud sportspersons of India!

UP Inter-District Teacher Transfer for Surplus Staff

In Uttar Pradesh, the Basic Education Board has started the inter-district teacher transfer process for surplus teachers in primary and upper primary schools. Teachers who are extra in some schools are now being given a chance to move to schools where there is a need for teachers. According to the Board Secretary, Mr. Surendra Kumar Tiwari, 63,793 schools with surplus teachers, and 67,050 schools need more teachers. This new list has been uploaded to the official website of the Basic Education Board. Only those teachers whose schools are on the surplus list can log in to the website and apply for transfer.

The application process for voluntary transfers has started online. Teachers who want to apply must do it before Thursday. The transfer orders will be released on June 30. Teachers who are working in surplus schools can choose up to 25 schools where teachers are needed. Out of these, it is necessary to choose at least one option. Teachers who do not apply on time might miss this opportunity, and the website access may be closed to them.

The Secretary said that the Headmasters of primary schools and Assistant Teachers of upper primary schools can only apply for posts that match their current roles. For example, a primary school headmaster can apply only to other primary school headmaster posts. Similarly, an upper primary assistant teacher can apply only to upper primary posts. They cannot apply for each other’s posts. This means the system will only accept correct applications. Also, if a teacher’s school is not on the surplus list, the system will show their login as invalid.

Teachers must also take a printout of their online application and submit it to the Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) office by June 27. All BSA officers across the state have been instructed to verify the details and complete online data locking by June 28. This step is important so that the process is completed on time.

This inter-district surplus teacher transfer process is being done to balance the number of teachers in all schools. In many schools, there are more teachers than required. But at the same time, some schools do not have enough teachers. This affects the students and their learning. So, to give all students a better

education, this plan is being implemented. Teachers are also being told to take this opportunity seriously and complete their application process in time.

The Education Department wants to finish this adjustment process quickly. It will help make teaching better in schools that are currently short of teachers. Teachers are being requested to cooperate with the department and complete the necessary steps. This process is also transparent. All information is available on the official website. It is fair and only teachers who are extra in their current schools can take part. This is to make sure that no teacher is wrongly moved.

Teachers should also know that this is a golden chance. If they miss this deadline, they may not get another chance soon. So, they should act fast and apply by the last date. The system will automatically stop working after the last date. So, no application will be accepted after that.

The goal of this teacher transfer process is to make sure every school has the right number of teachers. It will improve the quality of education and reduce pressure on schools that have fewer teachers. At the same time, it will make good use of teachers in schools where there are more than needed. This balance is important for student progress.

All teachers, BSA officials, and education staff are expected to work together and complete this process smoothly. Teachers must log in using their correct credentials. Only valid surplus schools can log in. Others will not be allowed by the system.

In the coming days, all steps from application to verification and order release will be done on time. The Education Board has planned everything carefully. There are clear rules, and everyone must follow them. The department will keep checking if all steps are done as per the timeline.

Teachers should check the list of required schools on the website and select their preferred schools wisely. They should choose schools that are near their homes or convenient for them. The list has been made available so that teachers can make informed choices. But remember, at least one choice is compulsory.

In case teachers have any doubts, they should contact their BSA office. The BSA will help them and answer their questions. Teachers should not wait for the last day to apply. The website may have more traffic on the last day. So, it is better to apply early. It will also give them time to correct any mistakes in their form.

The Education Department is also making sure that the data is safe. No one can change the data after it is locked. This ensures that the process is fair. The locked data will be used to release transfer orders. Once the orders are released, teachers will have to report to their new schools. This change is expected to improve education in rural and urban schools alike.

The teachers’ cooperation is very important in this process. Without their support, the department cannot make schools better. This transfer is not forced. It is only for those who are willing to go to schools where they are needed. So, it is a chance to help the system and also find a school that suits them better.

The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board has also given technical support. The website has instructions and all the needed links. Teachers must read the instructions carefully before applying. Any wrong application will be rejected. Teachers should double-check their information and school choices.

In conclusion, this is a big step towards solving the problem of teacher shortage. It also helps schools with extra teachers to send them to the right places. The application process is simple and online. Teachers must take it seriously and complete their part. By June 30, all orders will be given, and the new school year will begin with balanced teacher strength. Let us hope all schools will soon have the right number of teachers, and students will benefit from better learning.

This inter-district surplus teacher transfer program is a positive move for education in Uttar Pradesh. It helps both teachers and students. It also shows that the government cares about improving schools. Teachers must join hands and complete this process successfully. Time is short, so act now. Fill the form, submit the printout, and wait for your new school posting. Good luck to all the teachers!

👉UP CM Orders Fast School Pairing and Teacher Transfers in 2 Days

https://upbasicschoolnews.blogspot.com/2025/06/up-cm-school-pairing-2025.html

UP CM Orders Fast School Pairing and Teacher Transfers in 2 Days

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath, has given an important order. He stated that the school pairing process must be completed within just two days. This decision was shared during a video meeting with all District Magistrates (DMs). The CM wants this work to be completed quickly so that students can receive a better education and improved facilities.

What is School Pairing?

School pairing means joining small schools with fewer students or fewer teachers with bigger schools. Many small schools in villages have only one teacher or very few students. These schools do not have good buildings, toilets, or proper classrooms. Some do not even have electricity or fans. This is not good for children.

CM Yogi’s Clear Instructions

CM Yogi said that this process should not take weeks or months. It must be finished in 2 days. All the DMs, Chief Development Officers (CDOs), and District Panchayati Raj Officers (DPROs) have been told to work together. They should help schools in their areas to complete the pairing.

They must also talk to parents. Many parents may not want to send their children to a different school. But officials and teachers must explain to them that the new school is better. It has more facilities, and children will get a better future.

Teachers Must Help Parents Understand

Teachers and Panchayat officers are being asked to talk to parents. They must explain that a bigger school with more teachers is helpful for their children. When there are more teachers, the children can learn different subjects properly. Also, bigger schools have better toilets, drinking water, books, and playgrounds.

The CM has said clearly in the Government Order (GO) that students should not be kept in schools where there are no facilities. Education should be fair for all. Every child deserves the same quality of learning.

Teacher Transfers Have Started

The voluntary transfer of teachers has already started. Teachers who are working in schools that have more teachers than needed can now choose to go to a school where there is a shortage. The online portal for this is open for only 2 more days.

The list of schools that have more teachers (called surplus schools) and schools that need more teachers (called deficit schools) has been uploaded to the portal. Teachers can check this list and choose where they want to go.

This process is voluntary. No one is being forced to transfer. But the government hopes that many teachers will come forward to help the schools that need them.

BSA Asked to Encourage Teachers

The Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) of every district has been asked to motivate teachers. The CM wants BSAs to speak to as many teachers as possible and request them to move to needy schools. Children in such schools are waiting for teachers to teach them. These teachers can make a big difference in their lives.

The CM believes that teachers will understand this and come forward. Their help is very important. If no one agrees to move, then some schools will still have only one teacher. This is not fair to the students.

Parents Should Not Worry

Some parents may feel scared about sending their children to a different school. They may think the school is too far or unsafe. But officers and teachers will help them understand that these schools are safe, clean, and full of facilities. The government will try to arrange transport for children if needed.

In the new schools, students will get:

More teachers

Better classrooms

Clean toilets

Playgrounds

Library and books

Regular exams

Good results

So parents should feel happy and proud that their child will now go to a better school. Their child’s future will be brighter.

Teachers Will Also Benefit

When teachers work alone in small schools, they have to teach all the subjects by themselves. It becomes hard for them. In big schools, there are many teachers. Work is shared. Teachers can teach only their subject and focus better. They will have other teachers to help and support them. This also gives them more time to plan their lessons and teach well.

So, voluntary transfer is not just helpful for students but also teachers.

Money Will Be Used Better

Right now, the government spends a lot of money on small schools. But these schools do not give good results because they don’t have enough teachers. By joining small schools with bigger ones, the same money will give better results. Students will learn more, and the system will become stronger.

The CM has said that good education should be given to every child. This step will help make that possible.

Important Things to Remember

Teachers can apply for transfer online

The portal is open only for 2 more days

Schools with extra teachers and schools with a shortage are already listed

Parents must be informed about the benefits

Officers should work as a team

DMs, CDOs, and DPROs must monitor everything

BSAs must motivate teachers

Teachers should come forward and help

CM is Watching the Progress

The CM will keep checking which districts are doing this work well. Those who work fast and complete the process in 2 days will be appreciated. Those who delay will be asked to explain.

This shows how serious the government is about improving education. Every officer and teacher must now act fast and complete the task.

Let’s Make It a Success

This work is not just about school buildings. It is about children’s lives. If they study in a good school, they will grow up to be smart, confident, and successful. That is why everyone – teachers, officers, panchayat staff, and parents – must work together.

UP Teachers Say No to School Merger

The Uttar Pradesh Junior High School Teachers Association has started a peaceful protest against the school merger policy in the state. The government is trying to merge small primary and junior schools in different villages. But the teachers say this is not right. It will harm the future of poor children in villages. It will also create problems for teachers. The association has said that they will start a peaceful movement. They will not accept the wrong policy of merging schools. They said that giving free or low-cost education is not just a rule, it is a moral duty of the government.

In many villages, the nearest school is now being placed 2 or 3 kilometers away. The children who earlier walked a few minutes to school now have to walk long distances. This is particularly challenging for young children, especially girls. It is also unsafe. Some children may stop going to school. If they drop out, who will be responsible? The government should think about these problems before making such big changes. The teachers say that the merger system should stop immediately. Every village must have its school like before.

When schools are far away, small children may not attend regularly. Poor parents cannot send them by bus or car. They also cannot take them daily. Many children will miss school or leave it altogether. This is against the Right to Education law, which says that children should get primary education close to home. If the school is too far, it becomes hard to follow this law.

The teachers are not against improving education. They want better schools, too. But instead of closing village schools, the government should improve them. They should give more teachers, books, furniture, clean toilets, and drinking water. If schools become better, more children will come. But if schools are closed and children are sent far away, education will stop for many. This is not a smart step. It is a harmful step for village children.

The teacher union is also worried that this school merger is just a way to reduce teachers. When two schools are joined, one teacher post may be removed. This is unfair. Many teachers are working with a full heart. They love teaching. They want to serve children. But now they are scared for their jobs. Shiksha Mitras and part-time teachers are very tense. They do not know what will happen next.

Many villagers are also sad and angry. They say the school in the village is not just a building. It is the heart of the village. It is a place of learning, playing, and growing. When children go to a school in their village, parents are happy and feel safe. But now, when schools are merged and children are sent far away, parents feel helpless. Girl children may stop going to school. Parents may not allow them to walk 2–3 km daily. There are also safety issues and transport problems.

The teacher association wants to save education in villages. They want to meet leaders, MLAs, MPs, and ministers. They want to explain the problem in simple words. They want to request that the government take back this policy. They are saying: please let the schools run like before. Please help teachers and children. Please save the future of rural India.

Education experts also say that this kind of one-size-fits-all system is not good. Every village is different. Some villages have good roads. Others do not. Some areas are near forests or rivers. In such places, children walking 3 kilometers is not safe. The government should talk to teachers and parents before making big decisions. Teachers are the backbone of schools. If teachers are not respected, then education cannot be strong.

The Right to Education (RTE) rule says that children in classes 1 to 5 should not travel more than 1 km. For Classes 6 to 8, it should not be more than 3 km. But even this is too far for small kids, especially in rural areas. When a child walks long distances daily, they get tired. Their health and studies suffer. The merger system is not helping students. It is pushing them away from schools.

The protest by the teachers is peaceful. They are not shouting or going on strike. They are just explaining their point. They are ready to sit for peaceful dharnas and send letters. They want to talk to the government with respect. But they also say that if the policy is not changed, they will continue their protest. They are ready for a long movement if needed.

Their message is clear. Let every village have its school. Stop merging schools. Keep education near homes. Help children learn happily and safely. Do not make them walk for kilometers. Respect the role of teachers. Listen to their voice. Only then will real education grow.

This protest is not only for teachers. It is for every child who dreams of studying. It is for every parent who wants their child to learn. It is for every village that wants a better future. The government must listen. The school merger plan must stop. Village schools must work as before. Then only can we say that we care for education.

The teachers are standing together. They say: We will not let basic education die. We will protect children’s right to learn. We will save village schools. We will walk the path of peace, but we will not be silent. The government must act now. Education is not a favour. It is a right. And that right must be protected. Always.
