Junk Food: Harmful Effects and Healthy Choices for Kids

 


In today’s busy world, people prefer quick and convenient food options. Junk food has become a big part of our lives. These foods are tasty but very harmful to our health. Junk food means fried, packaged, and processed food items. These foods contain very little nutrition and are high in fat, salt, sugar, and calories. They do not give us fiber, protein, vitamins, or minerals. Common examples of junk food are samosas, chips, noodles, chocolates, burgers, pizzas, cold drinks, and energy drinks. These things may look nice and taste good, but they are terrible for our bodies and minds.

Junk food does not give our body the important things it needs to grow. Eating these foods every day can lead to many serious problems. One of the biggest problems is obesity. Junk food has too much oil and calories. It adds fat to the body and makes people overweight. Children and young people are becoming fat very quickly. Another danger is heart disease. Too much oil and salt increase bad cholesterol. This may lead to the blockage of the heart's blood vessels. It is also risky for diabetes. Sweet snacks and soft drinks increase sugar in the blood. This raises the chances of developing Type 2 diabetes. Our stomach also gets upset. These foods do not have fiber, which helps in digestion. So we may get problems like gas, constipation, and bloating. Junk food can also affect our brains. Children who eat too much junk food cannot focus on their studies. Their attention becomes weak, and they feel tired easily. Immunity also becomes weak, so children fall sick again and again.

Children are more attracted to junk food. They like colors, smell, and packing. Bright packets and funny cartoon ads on TV make children want these foods more. If children eat junk food daily, they face many problems. They feel tired and weak. They become angry or sad without reason. They cannot concentrate in class. Their teeth and bones become weak. They may become overweight and lose interest in playing games. So it is very important that parents and teachers work together to guide children in the right way. Parents should cook healthy food at home. Give children fruits and vegetables regularly. Do not offer junk food as a gift or reward. Pack nutritious food in their lunch boxes. Teachers should talk about healthy eating in school. They can organize Healthy Food Days. They can make children draw posters and read lessons about good food. School canteens should avoid selling junk food.

Instead of junk food, we can give children tasty and healthy options. Chips can be replaced with roasted peanuts or fox nutsLemon water or coconut water can be used as healthier alternatives to cold drinks. Instead of pizza, we can make a roti with veggies at home. Maggi can be replaced with homemade vegetable porridge. Chocolate can be replaced with dates, raisins, and jaggery. Burgers can be made at home with sprouts and healthy buns. These foods not only taste good, but also give energy, vitamins, and help children grow well.

TV and mobile ads play a big role. Big companies make shiny ads using superheroes or cartoons to sell fast food. These ads make junk food look cool and fun. Kids start asking for these foods again and again. Parents must explain the truth about these ads. They should tell children how these foods are bad for health and why real food is better.

The government and society also have a role in stopping the junk food habit. Junk food shops must not be allowed near schools. Strict regulations should be in place for food advertisements. Food sellers should be told to follow health rules. The media should show healthy food in newspapers and on TV. This way, more people will learn and follow better food habits.

In the end, we must remember that eating too much junk food is bad for both the body and brain. It may taste good for some time, but it brings many problems later. If we teach children to eat good food from childhood, they will stay healthy all their lives. Junk food should be kept away, and healthy food should become a friend. This is the key to a better future. We should try to eat at least one fruit every day. Have one No-Junk-Food Day every week. Teach children how to make healthy food at home. Watch food ads on TV carefully and explain them to children. The final message is that junk food gives a short-term taste, but healthy food gives long-term health. UP Inter-District Teacher Transfer for Surplus Staff

 

In Uttar Pradesh, the Basic Education Board has started the inter-district teacher transfer process for surplus teachers in primary and upper primary schools. Teachers who are extra in some schools are now being given a chance to move to schools where there is a need for teachers. According to the Board Secretary, Mr. Surendra Kumar Tiwari, 63,793 schools with surplus teachers, and 67,050 schools need more teachers. This new list has been uploaded to the official website of the Basic Education Board. Only those teachers whose schools are on the surplus list can log in to the website and apply for transfer.

The application process for voluntary transfers has started online. Teachers who want to apply must do it before Thursday. The transfer orders will be released on June 30. Teachers who are working in surplus schools can choose up to 25 schools where teachers are needed. Out of these, it is necessary to choose at least one option. Teachers who do not apply on time might miss this opportunity, and the website access may be closed to them.

The Secretary said that the Headmasters of primary schools and Assistant Teachers of upper primary schools can only apply for posts that match their current roles. For example, a primary school headmaster can apply only to other primary school headmaster posts. Similarly, an upper primary assistant teacher can apply only to upper primary posts. They cannot apply for each other’s posts. This means the system will only accept correct applications. Also, if a teacher’s school is not on the surplus list, the system will show their login as invalid.

Teachers must also take a printout of their online application and submit it to the Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) office by June 27. All BSA officers across the state have been instructed to verify the details and complete online data locking by June 28. This step is important so that the process is completed on time.

This inter-district surplus teacher transfer process is being done to balance the number of teachers in all schools. In many schools, there are more teachers than required. But at the same time, some schools do not have enough teachers. This affects the students and their learning. So, to give all students a better

education, this plan is being implemented. Teachers are also being told to take this opportunity seriously and complete their application process in time.

The Education Department wants to finish this adjustment process quickly. It will help make teaching better in schools that are currently short of teachers. Help from just 155 rupees to 48 lakh rupees

 


Today, we will learn about a unique social effort that shows how a small amount can make a big difference when people come together with good intentions. This is the story of TSCT (Teachers Support and Care Team). In this campaign, people donated just ₹155, and each needy family received help of around ₹48 lakh. This is not just financial help but also an example of unity and kindness in our society.

How did it happen?

The plan of this campaign was very simple, but the result was amazing. Let's understand the key facts:

Total members in Uttar Pradesh: More than 3,11,161 teachers are a part of TSCT.

Amount donated by each person: Each member donated just ₹15.50 for one family.

Amount received by one family: Around ₹48 lakh.

Total families helped: 20 poor and needy families.

Time taken: The work was completed in just 13 days.

These numbers may seem modest, but they show how powerful unity and caring can be.

मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने किया 3300 करोड़ की परियोजनाओं का शुभारंभ

लखनऊ, 26 मई 2025 — उत्तर प्रदेश में बच्चों को बेहतर भविष्य और गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा देने के उद्देश्य से मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने लोकभवन सभागार में एक विशाल कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से 3300 करोड़ रुपये की शिक्षा परियोजनाओं का शुभारंभ किया। उन्होंने कहा कि बेसिक शिक्षा राष्ट्र निर्माण की नींव है और इसे मजबूत बनाने के लिए सरकार लगातार कार्य कर रही है।

शिक्षा में बड़ा निवेश: नए स्कूल भवन और डिजिटल साधनों की शुरुआत

मुख्यमंत्री योगी ने कार्यक्रम के दौरान 139 कस्तूरबा गांधी बालिका विद्यालयों के उच्चीकृत भवनों और अतिरिक्त डॉरमेट्री का लोकार्पण किया। इसके अलावा 43 मुख्यमंत्री मॉडल कम्पोजिट विद्यालयों और 66 मुख्यमंत्री अभ्युदय कम्पोजिट विद्यालयों की आधारशिला रखी गई। इस पहल का मकसद ग्रामीण और दूरदराज क्षेत्रों में बच्चों को आधुनिक शिक्षा सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराना है।

हर विद्यार्थी को मिले समान अवसर: डीबीटी के ज़रिए ₹1200 ट्रांसफर

सीएम योगी ने यूनिफॉर्म, बैग, जूते, मोजे और स्टेशनरी के लिए प्रत्येक छात्र को ₹1200 की धनराशि अभिभावकों के बैंक खाते में डायरेक्ट बेनिफिट ट्रांसफर (DBT) के ज़रिए भेजी। यह राशि प्रदेश के 1.5 करोड़ से अधिक बच्चों को दी गई है। मुख्यमंत्री ने सभी अभिभावकों और शिक्षकों से अपील की कि इस पैसे का उपयोग बच्चों की ज़रूरतों पर ही हो।

डिजिटल शिक्षा को बढ़ावा: स्मार्ट क्लास, आईसीटी लैब और टैबलेट्स वितरण

शिक्षा को तकनीक से जोड़ते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने प्रदेश के 7,409 विद्यालयों में स्मार्ट क्लास, 5,258 विद्यालयों में आईसीटी लैब, और 51,667 शिक्षकों को टैबलेट्स वितरित किए। साथ ही 503 पीएम श्री विद्यालयों में डिजिटल लाइब्रेरी का उद्घाटन किया गया।

‘निपुण प्लस एप’ से होगा स्मार्ट असेसमेंट, स्टूडियो से शिक्षा का प्रसारण

मुख्यमंत्री ने राज्य शैक्षिक तकनीकी संस्थान में एजुकेशनल ब्रॉडकास्ट स्टूडियो की शुरुआत की, जिससे डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म पर शिक्षण सामग्री प्रसारित की जा सकेगी। साथ ही कक्षा 3 से 12 तक के छात्रों के लिए ‘निपुण प्लस एप’ की शुरुआत की गई, जिससे उनका स्मार्ट असेसमेंट किया जाएगा।

शिक्षकों की अहम भूमिका: अनुपात सुनिश्चित और प्रशिक्षु शिक्षकों को नया अनुभव

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि शिक्षकों की संख्या पर्याप्त रखी जाएगी और शिक्षक-छात्र अनुपात हर हाल में सुनिश्चित किया जाएगा। बीएड और एमएड के छात्रों को निपुण आकलन कार्यक्रम में शामिल करने की बात कही गई ताकि उन्हें फील्ड का अनुभव मिल सके और शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता बेहतर हो।

ऑपरेशन कायाकल्प ने बदली स्कूलों की तस्वीर

सीएम योगी ने बताया कि 2017 से पहले बेसिक शिक्षा परिषद के विद्यालयों की हालत जर्जर थी, वहां साफ-सफाई, शौचालय, पीने का पानी जैसी मूलभूत सुविधाएं नहीं थीं। लेकिन ऑपरेशन कायाकल्प के तहत यह सब कुछ बदला है। अब इन स्कूलों में खेल मैदान, स्मार्ट क्लास, डिजिटल लाइब्रेरी, और शौचालय जैसी सुविधाएं मौजूद हैं, जिससे बच्चों की संख्या में भी वृद्धि हुई है।

हर विधानसभा क्षेत्र में खुलेगा मुख्यमंत्री कंपोजिट विद्यालय

सीएम योगी ने घोषणा की कि हर विधानसभा क्षेत्र में एक मुख्यमंत्री कंपोजिट विद्यालय खोला जाएगा, जो प्री-प्राइमरी से सीनियर सेकेंडरी तक की शिक्षा एक ही परिसर में देगा। इन स्कूलों में साइंस लैब, कंप्यूटर लैब, स्टेडियम, और मल्टीपर्पज हॉल जैसी आधुनिक सुविधाएं होंगी।

समर कैंप में बच्चों के समग्र विकास की तैयारी

मुख्यमंत्री ने समर कैंप में बच्चों के सर्वांगीण विकास की बात करते हुए कहा कि इनमें खेल, संगीत, नृत्य, नाटक, और योग जैसी गतिविधियों को शामिल किया जाए। उन्होंने निर्देश दिया कि 21 जून को अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस के लिए अभी से तैयारी की जाए और आयुष मंत्रालय के योग प्रोटोकॉल को लागू किया जाए।

‘स्कूल चलो अभियान’ को मिले नई गति, कोई बच्चा न छूटे

सीएम योगी ने ‘स्कूल चलो अभियान’ को तेज़ करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि गांवों में कोई भी बच्चा शिक्षा से वंचित न रह जाए, इसके लिए शिक्षक और प्रधानाचार्य घर-घर जाकर बच्चों को स्कूल में जोड़ें। नए बच्चों का स्वागत ढोल-नगाड़े के साथ हो और स्वच्छता को विद्यालयों से जोड़ा जाए।

शिक्षकों को किया गया सम्मानित, नई किताबों का विमोचन

निपुण आकलन में बेहतर प्रदर्शन करने वाले 5 शिक्षकों को सम्मानित किया गया। साथ ही एससीईआरटी द्वारा तैयार की गई दो नई पुस्तकें ‘सारथी’ और ‘अनुरूपण’ का विमोचन भी किया गया, जो शिक्षा में नवाचार को बढ़ावा देंगी।

बच्चों की प्रदर्शनी का मुख्यमंत्री ने किया अवलोकन

कार्यक्रम के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने बच्चों द्वारा तैयार की गई शैक्षिक प्रदर्शनी का निरीक्षण किया और बच्चों से उनकी परियोजनाओं की जानकारी ली। बच्चों ने अपनी कला, विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी से संबंधित परियोजनाएं प्रस्तुत कीं।

कई दशकों तक इन डिग्रियों के धारकों को उत्तर प्रदेश में शिक्षक भर्ती प्रक्रिया में भाग लेने की अनुमति मिली। विशेष रूप से, मौल्लिम-ए-उर्दू को एक व्यावसायिक शिक्षक प्रशिक्षण योग्यता के रूप में स्वीकार किया जाता था, जबकि आदिब-ए-कामिल को अकादमिक पात्रता के लिए बीए उर्दू के समकक्ष माना जाता था।

हालांकि, जब सवाल उठे कि ये डिग्रियां विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग (UGC) और राष्ट्रीय शिक्षक शिक्षा परिषद (NCTE) द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त डिग्रियों के समकक्ष हैं या नहीं, तो इन डिग्रियों को लेकर कानूनी जांच शुरू हुई। यह विवाद खासतौर पर 2019 में असिस्टेंट टीचर भर्ती (69,000 पदों) के दौरान और बाद के चयन में उभरा, जिसमें सवाल पूछा गया कि क्या इन डिग्रियों को आरटीई एक्ट, 2009 के तहत बी.एड./डी.एल.एड. जैसी मान्यता प्राप्त योग्यताओं के बराबर माना जा सकता है।

2. उठाए गए मुख्य कानूनी प्रश्न

इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय ने निम्नलिखित अहम सवालों पर विचार किया:

a .  क्या जामिया उर्दू, अलीगढ़ भारत के कानून के तहत मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय है?

b . क्या "मौल्लिम-ए-उर्दू" और "आदिब-ए-कामिल" डिग्रियां शिक्षक प्रशिक्षण या अकादमिक डिग्रियों जैसे                  बी.एड. या बीए उर्दू के बराबर हैं?

c . क्या ये योग्यताएं NCTE और UGC द्वारा निर्धारित मानकों को पूरा करती हैं, ताकि सरकारी स्कूलों में शिक्षण          पदों के लिए नियुक्ति हो सके?

d . क्या सरकार द्वारा पूर्व में इन डिग्रियों को स्वीकार किया जाना नियुक्ति का अधिकार बनाता है?

ये प्रश्न विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम, 1956, राष्ट्रीय शिक्षक शिक्षा परिषद अधिनियम, 1993, और उत्तर प्रदेश बेसिक एजुकेशन विभाग द्वारा जारी भर्ती नियमों के व्याख्यान पर आधारित थे।

3. अदालत का विश्लेषण और निष्कर्ष

इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय ने जामिया उर्दू की स्थिति और संबंधित डिग्रियों की प्रकृति का गहराई से विश्लेषण किया। मुख्य निष्कर्ष इस प्रकार हैं:

(a) जामिया उर्दू मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय नहीं है

अदालत ने कहा कि जामिया उर्दू न तो संसद या राज्य विधानमंडल द्वारा स्थापित विश्वविद्यालय है और न ही UGC अधिनियम की धारा 3 के तहत डीन विश्वविद्यालय। यह UGC या NCTE की मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थाओं की सूची में नहीं है। इसलिए, यह भारतीय कानून के अनुसार वैध डिग्रियां प्रदान करने के लिए सक्षम नहीं है।

(b) डिग्रियां बी.एड./डी.एल.एड. के बराबर नहीं हैं

मौल्लिम-ए-उर्दू को NCTE द्वारा शिक्षक प्रशिक्षण की आधिकारिक योग्यता के रूप में स्वीकार नहीं किया गया है। इसी तरह, आदिब-ए-कामिल को भी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा प्रदान की जाने वाली स्नातक डिग्री के समान नहीं माना जा सकता। न तो राज्य सरकार और न ही केंद्र सरकार ने इसे कानूनी रूप से मान्यता दी है।

(c) पूर्व प्रथा कानूनी अधिकार नहीं बना सकती

अदालत ने कहा कि प्रशासन द्वारा पहले इन डिग्रियों को स्वीकार करना कानूनी अधिकार नहीं बनाता। यह एक प्रशासनिक त्रुटि थी जिसे जारी नहीं रखा जा सकता। अभ्यर्थियों को पूर्व में हुई गलत व्याख्या के आधार पर अधिकार नहीं मिल सकता।

4. प्रभावित अभ्यर्थियों पर प्रभाव

यह फैसला उन हजारों उम्मीदवारों को सीधे प्रभावित करता है, जिन्होंने अपनी मौल्लिम-ए-उर्दू और आदिब-ए-कामिल डिग्रियों के आधार पर शिक्षक पदों के लिए आवेदन किया था।

कई उम्मीदवारों ने:

a . CTET और UPTET जैसे शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा दी है।

b . लिखित परीक्षा और साक्षात्कार पास कर नियुक्ति के लिए चुने गए हैं।

c . नियुक्ति पत्र प्राप्त किए हैं या सत्यापन के अंतिम चरण में थे।

फैसले के बाद उनकी योग्यताएं अमान्य मानी गईं, जिससे वे भर्ती प्रक्रिया से बाहर हो गए। यह स्थिति उनके लिए मानसिक और सामाजिक संकट उत्पन्न कर रही है, क्योंकि इनमें से अधिकांश अभ्यर्थी वंचित वर्ग से आते हैं और वर्षों का मेहनत उन्होंने इस दिशा में लगाई थी।

5. व्यापक कानूनी और नीति संबंधी परिणाम

इस निर्णय के शिक्षा प्रबंधन और नियमों की स्पष्टता के लिए कई महत्वपूर्ण प्रभाव हैं:

(a) UGC और NCTE की अधिकारिता की पुष्टि

अदालत ने UGC और NCTE को उच्च शिक्षा और शिक्षक प्रशिक्षण के लिए सर्वोच्च नियामक माना। कोई भी निजी संस्था, जब तक इसे ये निकाय मान्यता न दें, वैध डिग्री या शिक्षक योग्यता नहीं दे सकती।

(b) शिक्षक पात्रता मानदंडों में समानता की आवश्यकता

अदालत ने शिक्षक भर्ती में पारदर्शी और एकरूप मानदंडों की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। डिग्रियों की समानता को लेकर असमंजस से मुकदमेबाजी और करियर अस्थिरता होती है।

(c) राज्य की जिम्मेदारी

अदालत ने कहा कि राज्य को यह सुनिश्चित करना चाहिए कि शैक्षिक न्याय हो। जो उम्मीदवार जामिया उर्दू की डिग्रियों पर भरोसा करके तैयारी कर रहे थे, उनके लिए संक्रमणकालीन सहायता, पुनः प्रशिक्षण, या वैध योग्यताओं के साथ भविष्य की भर्ती में समावेश की व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए।

6. हितधारकों की प्रतिक्रिया

(a) अभ्यर्थी और संबंधित संघ

उर्दू शिक्षकों के प्रतिनिधि संघों और अभ्यर्थियों ने फैसले को निराशाजनक और अन्यायपूर्ण बताया है। वे उच्च न्यायालय या सुप्रीम कोर्ट में अपील की योजना बना रहे हैं। कुछ ने उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार से मांग की है कि जामिया उर्दू की डिग्रियों को रेट्रोएक्टिव मान्यता या एक बार का छूट दिया जाए।

(b) जामिया उर्दू की प्रतिक्रिया

जामिया उर्दू ने अपनी विरासत की रक्षा की है और कहा है कि उसे स्वतंत्रता पूर्व भारत सरकार से मान्यता प्राप्त थी तथा यह एक सांस्कृतिक और भाषाई संस्था के रूप में प्रतिष्ठित है। लेकिन यह मान्यता आधुनिक कानूनों के तहत वैधता का पर्याय नहीं है। संस्थान अब मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालयों के साथ भागीदारी कर वैध डिग्रियां प्रदान करने की संभावना तलाश सकता है।

(c) उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार की स्थिति

सरकार ने उच्च न्यायालय के निर्णय का समर्थन किया है और राष्ट्रीय मानकों के पालन पर जोर दिया है। अधिकारियों ने कहा है कि आगे की भर्ती में केवल NCTE और UGC द्वारा मान्य डिग्रियों को स्वीकार किया जाएगा।

7. अपील की संभावना और भविष्य की दिशा

यह फैसला अंतिम नहीं हो सकता। प्रभावित अभ्यर्थी सुप्रीम कोर्ट में विशेष अनुमति याचिका दाखिल कर सकते हैं। वहां न्यायालय क़ानून की कड़ाई और न्यायसंगतता के बीच संतुलन बनाएगा, खासकर उन उम्मीदवारों के लिए जो सच्चे विश्वास में थे।

इसके साथ ही मांग बढ़ रही है:

NCTE और UGC द्वारा स्पष्ट और बाध्यकारी समानता नोटिफिकेशन जारी करने की।

शैक्षिक संस्थानों की स्थिति के प्रति सार्वजनिक जागरूकता अभियान।

डिग्रियों के निरस्तीकरण से प्रभावित लोगों के लिए पुनर्वास की व्यवस्था।


17 मई 2025 का इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय का निर्णय शिक्षा की स्वायत्तता, नियामक नियंत्रण और संवैधानिक न्याय के बीच जटिल संबंधों का परिचायक है। यह अवैध डिग्रियों को अमान्य कर क़ानून के शासन की पुष्टि करता है, पर साथ ही राज्य की जिम्मेदारी पर सवाल उठाता है कि इस तरह की संस्थागत अस्पष्टताओं को रोकने में वह कैसे बेहतर भूमिका निभा सकता है।

आगे चलकर, जामिया उर्दू, नियामक निकायों, राज्य सरकार और न्यायपालिका के बीच समन्वित प्रयास आवश्यक होंगे ताकि इस संकट का समाधान निकाला जा सके। शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता और विद्यार्थियों के हित दोनों को ध्यान में रखकर उत्तर प्रदेश और भारत में शिक्षा सुधार संभव होगा।
